吸煙與飲酒

我可以吸多少煙?

所有吸煙者應該戒煙。吸煙會增加罹患二型糖尿病的風險。每天吸越多煙,患上二型糖尿病的風險就越高。

我可以喝多少酒?

您應該避免喝酒。如果想要喝酒,不應超過建議酒量的上限,即男性每天最多喝2個標準酒量單位,女性每天最多喝1個標準酒量單位。而酗酒則定義為男性每星期飲酒超過15個標準酒量單位,女性每星期飲酒超過8個標準酒量單位,酗酒會大量降低人體對胰島素的敏感度。而標準酒量單位是指一杯含10克或12.5毫升酒精的飲品。
